Performance history in South Africa
According to the publicity for the 2014 production, the play was apparently originally written in 1994 for the actress Lizz Meiring, but due to work commitments, she could not perform it at that time.
1995 First produced at the Grahamstown Festival with Gabi Murray, directed by Ismael Mohamed.
1996: Produced at the Grahamstown Festival with Nicole Krowitz, directed by Karen De Abreu.
2014: Produced at the Suidooster Arts Festival, the US Woordfees and the Baxter Theatre by the Kosie House of Theatre, directed by Zane Meas with Lizz Meiring. Music created by Coenie de Villiers with set and lighting design by Kosie Smit.
