Tsonga academic, linguist, translator and playwright. She revised S.J. Baloyi's Tsonga translation of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (Savona, 1957)for the second edition, in 1973, published by Swiss Mission in S.A. in Kensington, Transvaal. Also co-translated Macbeth with Felix M. Shilote's of (Madaladala) in 1982.

Wrote Matatani a collection of notes on Tsonga dramas, under the name C.N.P. Nkondo(Charlotte P. N. Nkondo) , Published Pretoria : Rostrum, 1992.
