It would seem the text (by an anonymous author) was originally a French one act play. Translated into German as Die Eroberung von Sant Lucia by an anonymous author and published 1871. it was subsequently translated from the German into Dutch as Charlotte Blandford, of De Wedergevonden Vader  by M.G. Engelman, and published in 1799 by H. van Kesteren, Amsterdam.
