Ch. Bird (Charles Bird? - 17**-18**) is listed as one of the original 24 shareholders, to whom a section of the Boereplein was donated for the building of a theatre, which became The African Theatre. Appointed by Sir George Yonge when granting the land for the proposed theatre.
