Die Keller (The Cellar), Stellenbosch

A small experimental space built in a cellar in the H.B. Thom Complex at the The University of Stellenbosch by Johann van Heerden and Emile Aucamp in 1980 and used for student examinations, rehearsals, cabarets and small scale plays. It was closed down in 2001 because of structural problems.


The Cellar, Durban

A 120-seater theatre in the Natal Playhouse, Durban, opened in 1986.
