A broadcaster, newspaper columnist, television presenter and producer.

Born and resident in Durban, she has been active in the arts field in Durban over 30 years. In 1995 she founded the website and newsletter artSMart in 1995, sponsored and hosted by Durbanet , on which she and others review arts events in Durban and KwaZulu-Natal. 

Her awards incldue the Durban Critics Circle Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Durban Theatre Awards for her contribution to the arts in Durban.  In September 2012 she was awarded the Ethekwini Municipality's Living Legend Award for Arts & Culture, a prestigious accolade recognising her contribution to the arts in Durban.
