Cape Town Theatre Productions was the name of a theatre company active in Cape Town in the 1950's .

Also known as the Cape Town Theatre Company.


History

Producers, directors and performers involved include Pietro Nolte, Lydia Lindeque, Gavin Haughton, Lily-Jean Satusky, Celia van Zyl, Florence Norman and others. Stephen de Villiers did costume designs for them.


Their productions

They performed in Cape Town, Bellville, Paarl and Stellenbosch, doing inter alia:

Yerma (Lorca, 1955), Mirandolina (Goldoni, 1957),
