The Cape Town Fringe (or the Cape Town Fringe Festival)is The Cape Town Fringe is a festival of Grahamstown Festival highlights, founded in 2014. It is project-managed by the National Arts Festival. The City of Cape Town is the Host Sponsor, while Standard Bank is the Presenting Sponsor of the event. The general aim is to allow Capetonians to view more work by South Africa's emerging and established theatre-makers.

In 2017 they introduced the FRESH Awards for the best work.
