Cactus Flower

Cactus Flower (1969) [1] is a comedy by Abe Burrows. A dentist pretends to be married to avoid commitment, but when he falls for his girlfriend and proposes, he must recruit his lovelorn nurse to pose as his wife.

Cactus Flower is based on the French play Fleur de cactus by Pierre Barillet and Jean-Pierre Grédy.

Performance history in South Africa

Presented by PACT Afrikaans Drama in the State Theatre in October 1982; PACOFS in 1983, directed by Sandra Kotzé, starring Anton Dekker, Pieter Brand, Gretha Brazelle, Rika Sennett, Elzette Maarschalk.
