CREDO: A musical testament to the Freedom Charter is a multimedia oratorio by composer Bongani Ndodana-Breen, text by novelist and critic Brent Meersman, multimedia artist Andrew Black and producer Brenda Sisane.

Original text

Based on South Africa's Freedom Charter (1955), it offers a musical reflection of the social vision enshrined in that historic document. A 67 minute production that explores the endurance of the human spirit over adversity.

Commissioned by the University of South Africa and broadcast nationally on SABC TV.
