CREDO: A musical testament to the Freedom Charter is a multimedia oratorio by composer Bongani Ndodana-Breen, novelist and critic Brent Meersman, multimedia artist Andrew Black and producer Brenda Sisane.

Based on South Africa's Freedom Charter (1955), it offers a musical reflection of the social vision enshrined in that historic document. A 67 minute production that explores the endurance of the human spirit over adversity.

First produced 18, 19 and 21 July, 2013, in the Great Hall at UNISA by Pina Ya Thari, supported by UNISA (as one of their major projects celebrating their 140th anniversary in 2013). The cast included Sibongile Khumalo, Otto Maidi and Monika Wassung, accompanied by the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Jonas Alber.
