Buried Inside Extra is a full length play by American playwright Thomas Babe (1941-2000) [1]. Casting 3m, 2f.

The scene is the newsroom of a small-city newspaper, the time late in the evening. The morning edition has just been "put to bed" and, ironically, so has the paper—as the editor has received word that this edition will be the last.

First produced by New York's renowned Public Theatre, 1983, and also presented at the Royal Court Theatre in London
