The Buffalo City Summer Carnival is an annual event every September in the Buffalo City municipality in the Eastern Cape.

The municipality includes the cities of East London, Bhisho and King William's Town, as well as the large residential areas of Mdantsane and Zwelitsha.

The Carnival is one of the largest events in the region, and has been a tradition there for some years. Featuring parades, live performances, food and drink and other forms of entertainment, the event takes place in and around various public spaces various towns and cities that make up the municipal area.

For example, in 2014 the carnival took place at three venues: the Botanical Gardens in King Williams Town from 13 to 14 December, Mdantsane City shopping mall from 16 to 17 December, and Court Crescent in East London. In East London, the procession started at the City Hall and ending at the Beach Front on Saturday, 13 December and Friday, 19 December.
