Bruce-Trevosper Company

The Bruce-Trevosper Company was an English theatrical group consisting of Harry Bruce and Marguerite Trevosper. The company came to Port Elizabeth "direct from London" in June 1903, where they performed a number of productions including Si J'etais Roi, which they wrote themselves, A K-Night in Armour, The Two Hussars and On Distant Shores were also presented.

Contribution to South African Theatre

June 2 & 3, 1903: Performed Si J'etais Roi at the Port Elizabeth Opera House.

June 1903; Performed The Two Hussars at the Port Elizabeth Opera House. Conrad Franklyn was the acing-manager.

June 23, 1903: Performed A K-Night in Armour by Walter Burnot and Harry Bruce at the Port Elizabeth Opera House.

1903; Performed On Distant Shores, a romantic play of the Crimean War, at the Port Elizabeth Opera House. Conrad Franklyn was the acing-manager.
