The Breytenbach Centre was once home to the well-known Breytenbach family, including painter, poet and playwright [[Breyten Breytenbach]] and is now home to cultural projects. Renovations were completed in early 2007 and it offers visitors the opportunity to view some of the art produced in Wellington. The Centre also offers photography, art and writing classes.
