Born, educated and trained in Johannesburg. Moved to Cape Town in the mid 1980s.

Performed in The Cat and the Canary, Cause Célèbre (for Pieter Toerien), The Cocktail Party (for Prester John Enterprises), Doctor on the Boil, Last of the Red Hot Lovers.
Roles include **, "Miss Daisy" in Driving Miss Daisy 1991. Starred in Brickhill-Burke’s production of Neil Simon’s Last of the Red Hot Lovers together with Melody O'Brian, Lynne Maree and Hal Orlandini at His Majesty's Theatre in 1980, Torch Song Trilogy (1984), The Man Most Likely To (1985), Amanda Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie (1989), Steel Magnolias, Kvetch, Bodey in A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur (1990), Heliotrope Bouquet (1994).
She has worked extensively in SABC Radio productions, appeared in the TV series Game and in the film That Englishwoman.

Fleur du Cap Theatre Award, Best Actress, 1991 for her role in Driving Miss Daisy.
