Performance history in South Africa
Staged in February 2000, directed by Josh Lindberg, with Nick Boraine (older Birdy), Antony Coleman (younger Birdy), Langley Kirkwood (Al) and Jose Domingos (Renaldi). This production was presented at the National Arts Festival Fringe in July 2000. Other cast members were Michael Richard and Robert van Vuuren.
