Performance history in South Africa

A production in Cape Town by the English Amateur Company was planned for 11 September 1837, but for a number of reasons postponed a few times and finally performed 18 September 1837, in the Cape Town Theatre, with Past Ten O'clock and a Rainy Night(Dibdin) as afterpiece.
