(18**-19**) Impressario and talent scout. * Claimed to have “discovered” the (Mthethwa) Lucky Stars and the Darktown Strutters, and presented them to a wider audience in the 1930s. She had them perform together in 1936, also having them appear at the at the Empire Exhibition in October 1936. She was the talent scout on King Solomon’s Mines, starring Paul Robeson as an African prince. ****
