Bergen en Dalen ("mountains and dales") is a two act play by Roderich Benedix (1811-1873)[1] and Jan Schuitemaker (fl. 1865)


The original text

A Dutch translation by Jan Schuitemaker (fl. 1865) of a German play by Roderich Benedix (1811-1873)[2]. Published for the Rederijkers in Purmerende by Schuitemaker, 1868.

1868: Performed by Aurora II in the hall of the Germania Liedertafel in Cape Town on 4 June, with Ferdinand de Speler (Nieuwmeyer).
