Beloftes van Môre Afrikaans film released by Mimosa Films in 1981.

The film

The film tells the story of a nursing inspector, Ella Rossouw, who has for years borne a grudge against matron Ria Vermeulen, whose two daughters, Heleen and Christa , are employed as nurses at the same hospital.

Based on the eponymous novel by Empie Maritz, the film was written and directed by Daan Retief and produced by Bill Troskie for Mimosa Films.

Cinematography is by Buster Reynolds, film editing by Roelf van Jaarsveld, makeup by [[William Bell|Bill Bell], production management by Roelf van Jaarsveld. Other crew members included Jannie Wienand (assistant director), John Bartlett (set dresser and production assistant), Caroline Burls (artwork), Piet Esterhuizen (set design), Bill Jacques (sound recordist), Jacques Bosch (still photographer), Nelson Mbasha (second camera assistant), Ernie Tamsen(assistant camera), Rowena Kelly (costume) and Caroline Burls (continuity).

The film was released 25 September 1981.
