Stage roles include I Spy (1959), Give Me Besides my Daily Bread, the mother in It Runs in the Family (1993-4), Rebecca Nurse in The Crucible (1996).
She is well known for her work for Springbok Radio. She worked extensively with students as a permanent member of the University of Natal Sneddon Theatre Company.
Her film and television work includes Lamborene, Tropical Heat and many foreign films.
