Belhar Cast

A theatre company founded by Ivan Abrahams in 1979. Abrahams, who had had formal training, was the director of their productions, also in the professional theatre. The rest of the group consisted of amateurs in full time employment. Initially very active, the group's activities gradually dwindled. In 1986 they produced Political Joke (Peter Snyders ) at the Kellerprinz-Drama Festival and by the 1990s Abrahams had become a full-time professional actor and director for CAPAB and Artscape.
