Barbara Maguire (19**-). Actress.

Biography

She was born in England and spent some of her childhood in Persia (now Iran) before moving to Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia). During the 1970s she moved to Cape Town with her husband Don Maguire and their children.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She has appeared in Home, an outside production staged at The Space (1975), Entertaining Mr Sloane, The Birthday Party, The Hostage, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Baxter Theatre 1980).

In 1979 she took part in a production of The Chairs and The Lesson in An Evening with Ionesco at the Baxter Theatre Studio.
