As die Nefie kom Kuier! ("When the cousin comes to visit") is an Afrikaans one-act farce by Gerhard J. Beukes (1913 - 1998).

Later renamed Die Nefie Kom Kuier!. Sometimes also referred to wrongly as As Nefie Kom Kuier!.

The original text

Set in a girls school hostel, the play was first performed in 1950 and published in Kerse Teen die Wind: Tien Eenbedrywe by J.L. van Schaik, 1950.

It was later renamed Die Nefie Kom Kuier! ("The cousin comes to visit!") and published in Die Nôientjie het Planne! Vier Ligte Eenakters (1969).
