Arthur started his career in the 1980s and went on to feature in several TV and films, his roles including "Frank Tshabalala" in Tshisa, "Mnyamane Buthelezi" in Muvhango and roles in Mzansi, Soul Buddyz and other productions.

Mbambo died in a Johannesburg hospital on ** after a long illness.
