COLEMAN, Antony (19** - ). South African actor best known for his role as Eric Carter in the M-Net drama series Snitch, from 2004-2007.

Training

He graduated with honours in Drama from Wits.


Career

Theatre productions include The Compleat Works of Willm Shkspre (abridged), Bouncers, Old Boys, Mooi Street Moves, Pale Natives, Master Class, Talk Radio. He has also been in the Take Away Shakespeare Company’s productions of King Lear and Antony and Cleopatra. He was seen in Amadeus in the role of Mozart.

Best known for his role as Eric Carter in the M-Net drama series Snitch, from 2004-2007. He has acted in numerous other television series including Reunion, Vernon Helps in The Lab, Bredenkamp in Zero Tolerance, Madam & Eve, Scoop Schoombie, Going Up Again and Brothers in Law. Michael Lennox in Binnelanders; Lord Kitchener in Donkerland; Officer Winter in Let Heaven Wait; Alfie in Loitering in Jozi.

He has acted in the feature films Glory Glory, Hoodlum and Son, Blood Diamond (2006); Gums and Noses (2004); Dirty Laundry (2012).

He played the role of Michael Lennox in the M-Net soap opera Binneland (formerly known as Binnelanders and Binneland Sub Judice), from 2010-2012.

He also starred as David King in the SABC3 drama series High Rollers in 2013. Later in 2013 he starred in the SABC3 sitcom Loitering in Jozi.
