Training

Graduated with distinction from the University of Cape Town with a Performer's Diploma in Speech and Drama.

Career

He joined CAPAB drama company at the beginning of 1993.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He has subsequently appeared in The Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Importance of Being Earnest, Antony and Cleopatra, Can't Pay? Won't Pay!, Arcadia, A Far Country, The Visit and 'Tis Pity She's a Whore. He played Antonio in CAPAB Drama's Maynardville production of The Tempest. He played Theseus in Maynardville's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Other productions include The Odd Couple (1997), Brian in Shopping and Fucking (1998), Stand in the Sun (1999). Running Riot (2001), Meredith's Money (2005), The Beauty Queen of Leenane (2008).

He directed Sleeping Around (1999).

In 2015 he played Singleton in the Hollywood-made television series filmed in Cape Town, Black Sails.
