KRIEL, Anneline. (1955-) Actress, beauty queen and model. Born in Pretoria, she studied drama at the University of Pretoria Department of Drama. Became Miss South Africa and Miss World in 1974. Became an international cover girl and model. Made a few films for television and general distribution (including Somer?*) and appeared in a few plays, inter alia *** for Pieter Toerien. **

KRIEL, Anneline. She starred in Robert Kirby’s The Wrong Time of Year together with Richard Haines with direction by Robert Whitehead in 1984. She starred in The Marriage-Go-Round for Pieter Toerien in 1985. ***(Tucker, 1997)

Anneline Kriel Kerzner was born in Pretoria and spent her school years in Witbank. In 1973 she went to Tukkies to study drama, and her work since then has been for either television or the cinema. Her films include Somer, Iemand Soos Jy, and Kill & Kill Again. Anneline's first TV appearance was in Storieboek Moord followed by Skoppensboer. Her professional stage debut was in The Wrong Time of Year.
