Anneli van Rooyen (1961-) is 'a prominent Afrikaans performner and singer/songwriter sangeres.
Born on 25 Februarie 1961, she studied drama Pretoria University, where she immersed herself in the emerging kabaret and popular music tradition, beign voted the overall winner of the 1979 ATKV Crescendo competition.
She went on to become a leading singer-songwriter and recording artist.
