("Anchor of Life") written by P. Marais. Hugely popular, it dramatised a life of evildoing, ending with a death scene. Performed by the Marais Dramagroep {"Marais Drama Group"), it toured the Western Cape for a couple of decades (1950s and 1960s). (See Smith, 1990, p37)
