Angel City is a play by American playwright, actor, author, screenwriter, and director Sam Shepard (1943-2017) [1].

It was first produced in San Francisco on 2 July 1976.

Performance history in South Africa

There is evidence of a production at the Market Theatre, possibly in 1979, directed by Hilary Blecher, starring Leslie Mongezi, Len Sparrow-Hawk, Charles Comyn and Aubrey Ellis.
