Biography

In 1984 she was married in Hollywood to Peter Noel-Barham.

Career

Performed in A Little Night Music (in 1975), The Sound of Music (in 1976), Fangs (in 1977), Vanities (in 1977 for Toerien-Firth Company), Happy Birthday,

Starred in the Des and Dawn Lindberg production of Pippin with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and direction, choreography and design by Des. It also starred Sammy Brown, Jo-Ann Pezzarro, Bess Finney, Taliep Petersen, Sophia Foster, Robin Dolton and Hal Watters at His Majesty's Theatre in 1975. She starred in Pieter Toerien’s production of the American mini-musical Starting Here, Starting Now, directed by John Montgomery and also starring Denise Freeman and Richard Loring at the Intimate Theatre in 1978. She starred in Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy Relatively Speaking, directed by John Hussey at The Market Theatre in 1978. It also starred Hussey, Helen Jessop and John Rogers. She starred in The Academy production of Michael Frayn’s Clouds, directed by Stockton Briggles and also starring Nicholas Ellenbogen in 1979. She starred in Tom Lehrer’s Tom Foolery/Tomfoolery together with Michael McGovern, Tim Plewman and Jonathan Rands at the Intimate Theatre in 1981. She starred in the opening production of Pieter Toerien’s Leonard Rayne Theatre namely Side by Side by Sondheim together with Dianne Chandler and Eric Flynn, who also directed, on the 18 July 1983. Constance Grappo directed her and Eddie Eckstein in Howard Ashman and Alan Menken’s The Little Shop of Horrors in 1984. She starred in NAPAC’s production of Noël and Gertie together with Philip Godawa at the Leonard Rayne Theatre in 1986.

She recently completed her first major film role in Afrikaans for which she also wrote the theme song, and appeared on the South African cabaret circuits with her own 40-minute show.'
