Biography

Youth

Training

Attended UCT Drama School for two years.

Career

He was a member of the CAPAB Drama Company in the mid-1990s. He has also worked for PACOFS, the Baxter Theatre and The Space and has done TV and radio work.

He has taken part in various national school tours of Shakespearean works including King Lear, Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night and Othello. Shirley, Goodness and Mercy (2007) (as Pa Nick, Oupa Frank and step-Oupa Theo Gallant) André was last seen at the Baxter Theatre when he performed in the PlayGround performed reading and later performance of Shirley, Goodness and Mercy (Baxter 2007). Miss Margarida's Way (Baxter Theatre), Cissie (2008), Steriel. He had a role in the radio drama Hashtag Hasepad broadcast on RSG in 2015. His television work includes roles in Sexy Girls, Beelde, Vuurtoring and Zap-Zap, “Errol” in The Piano, one of the episodes in the Heartlines series, and he has appeared in the German feature film Of Love and Death.
