André Lemmer (1945-2020) was a teacher, a professor of Education, a language editor, an actor, a director and a writer.

Biography

He died of brain cancer on 24 August, 2020.

Theatre activities

He wrote about theatre and education, including an article on

He was one of the authors and one of the co-compilers of the African Folktales Onstage! 1 & 2 Junkets books.

He wrote the play Playing in the Park, which appeared in the Junkets publication Short, Sharp & Snappy (plays for South African high schools), published by Junkets.

Add to which Junkets hopes to publish posthumously his teen novel Stutterer.
