Translations and adaptations

Translated into Afrikaans as 'n Aandjie by die Vernes by Louis van Rooyen and Johann Papendorf, the text published by DALRO.


Performance history in South Africa

1975: Performed in Afrikaans in the Arena Theatre, Johannesburg by PACT, directed by Louis van Niekerk. The cast: Zack du Plessis (Verne), Magda van Biljon (Honorine), Gerben Kamper (Gaston) and Kenneth Linge (Victor).

1986: Performed in English by NAPAC in the Loft Theatre, Durban, directed by Stephen Coan opening 13 August 1986.
