Alva's Schrikbewind, of De Wraak eens Vaders is a prose play in 8 scenes by A. A. van der Stempel Jr.

The original text

Based on the novel Alva te Antwerpen, of De Wraak eens Vaders by Jan David de Vries (published by C.H. van Nederhasselt en Zoon in 1851), the stage version was written for use by the rederijkers, thus without roles for women. Printed in 1870.
