ALEXANDER SCHOOL OF DRAMA AND ELOCUTION. Founded by Muriel Alexander in Johannesburg in 1916, upon her return from London. The students from this school later formed the core of the Johannesburg Repertory Society (Johannesburg REPS) which Alexander founded in 1927. (See Du Toit, 1988) [JH]
