FERNS, Alexander "Alex" (1968- ) is a British actor and television personality, best known for his EastEnders role as Trevor Morgan, "Britain's most-hated soap villain". Graduate of the University of Cape Town Drama Department. [1]

Biography

Born in Lennoxtown, Scotland, he lived in South Africa for 17 years and studied drama at the University of Cape Town before returning to the United Kingdom. Married to South African-born actress Jennifer Woodburne since 1996. They currently live in London (2014).

Studied at the University of Cape Town Drama Department.

Career

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Stage appearances in South Africa include Uncle Vanya (1993), The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Maynardville 1993), Dark Outsider (as Uys Krige, 1995), Burning Blue (1996).

He had a role in Antony Sher's play ID in London in 2003.

Awards, etc

Nominated Vita Award best supporting actor Burning Blue.
