Admiral Lord Nelson, or The Life of a Sailor Admiral Lord Nelson, or The Life of a Sailor is one of a series of a circus-style pantomimic presentations in Cape Town, October to December, 1850. It included a "Procession of his statue". They were performed by the Equestrian Gymnastics, a French circus troupe which visited the city and performed pantomime-performances and dramatised equestrian displays under the auspices of the governor Sir Harry Smith in this period.
