Adcock-Ingram Ltd. is a pharmeceuticals company which sponsored a variety of cultural events and projects during the 1980s and 1990s. Notably, through the offices of their then chairman, Norman Nossel, they sponsored the 1984 publication, The Breytie Book: A collection of articles on South African Theatre dedicated to P.P.B.Breytenbach (edited by Temple Hauptfleisch), the original launch of the South African Theatre Journal (1987) and the Adcock-Ingram Auditorium in the Windybrow Theatre Complex in Johannesburg, for PACT in 1987.
