Aandster Ver ("evening star far") is an Afrikaans musical by Xander Haagen (1924-2000).

Written, composed and directed by Haagen, it was at the time billed as the first genuine Afrikaans musical in the 1961 programme.

1961: First performed by the music department at the University of Pretoria, directed by Haagen, with a cast that included Barbara Veenemans (as "Tessa"), Mathilde Hanekom ("Bessie"), Marita Knobel, Lourens Odendaal and George Kok.
