A Little Night Music is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler. Inspired by the Ingmar Bergman film Smiles of a Summer Night [1]. Originally directed on Broadway by Hugh Wheeler.

Musical director Bill Fairley. restaged in South Africa by Stella Claire and directed in South Africa by George Lee Andrews, at the Three Arts Theatre, Cape Town, His Majesty's Theatre, Johannesburg and the Alhambra Theatre, Durban, starring Maggie Fitzgibbon, Taubie Kushlick, Eric Flynn with Hal Watters, Erica Rogers, Andre Hattingh and others.
