A Fantasmagorie (or Fantasmagorie Automaton) was an illusionary presentation (magic lantern presentation[1]) in the style of "the celebrated Pantomime of Prof. Le Conte", performed in Cape Town by M. Decanis from 7 March, 1837, and playing till June 1837.
