Motsiela, It contained “…scenes from slave life reminiscent of Uncle Tom’s Cabin”, directed by Herbert Dhlomo for the Emancipation Centenary Celebration held in the Bantu Men’s Social Centre (BMSC) in Johannesburg on Sunday 3 June 1934. Text in the SAIRR Collection, Witwatersrand University Library. ( See Kruger, 1999).
