Produced by George W. Lederer, (1861-1938)[3], it was first performed in New York at the Casino Theatre, 19 March 1900; first performed in London at the Shaftesbury Theatre, 11 July 1900.
The sheet music originally published by E. Ascherberg & Co, London, 1900.

Performance history in South Africa
1903: Performed on tour in South Africa by the Royal Australian Opera Company under the management of the Wheeler Company, featuring among other Gertie Campion and Dan O'Connor. Venues included the Good Hope Theatre, Cape Town and His Majesty's Theatre, Johannesburg.
