Jakobregop is a one-act play by Hennie Aucamp.

Published with a subtitle as Jakobregop, 'n saterspel.

The original text

The name literally translated means "jacob upright", and it is the Afrikaans name for the zinnia plant. However, it has also been used as a a sexually suggestive term, as in this revue.

The text published in the volume Sjampanje vir Ontbyt: Drie verwante eenbedrywe by Human & Rousseau.

Photocopy of the text found in the Stellenbosch Drama Department's theatre archives and taken from the collection Sjampanje vir Ontbyt (1988). Now held in the Performing Arts Research Collection (PARC) at the Africa Open Institute for Music, Research and Innovation, with offices at Pieter Okkers House, 7 Joubert Street, Stellenbosch, South Africa.
