Gloria Bosman
Gloria Bosman (1972-2023) was a South African musical performer and jazz singer.

Biography
Born in Mofolo in 1972, but was raised in Pimville, Soweto, she was influenced by her father's jazz music and began her musical career by singing in a church choir.
Her appearance in a 1993 Market Theatre musical drama led to the offer of an opera scholarship at the then Pretoria Technikon (now the Tshwane University of Technology). Her vocal abilities also attracted the attention of the late South African vocalist Sibongile Khumalo, an early mentor.
She passed away after a short illness on Tuesday, 14 March, 2023, at the age of 50.
Contribution to South Arican theatre, film, media and performance
Her first professional engagement came with an appearance in Christo Leach's musical production SA Love, at the Market Theatre, in June 1993, when she filled in for one of the regular singers.
