A theatrical touring company of eight people (literally called "The Blind Swanepoel Company", also referred to simply as Die Swanepoels), made up of Jan Swanepoel, Freda Swanepoel, their five children, (the eldest only 15) and the children's teacher, a "Mr Botha". They toured through the country in 194* with plays such as Baas in sy Huis ("Master in his House"), Boggelrug ("Hunchback"), Jacob en Esau, Reg is Reg, Onreg is ook Reg ("Right is Right, Wrong is also Right", apparently "compiled" by Henri van Wyk). **
