'n Gerieflike Huwelik ("A convenient marriage") by Alexandre Dumas pére. See Un Marriage de Convenance (“A Marriage of Convenience”). (lit. “A Convenient Marriage”) A translation of Alexandre Dumas pére’s play Un Marriage de Convenance (“A Marriage of Convenience”), produced by the Paul de Groot Toneelgeselskap in 1927. It was an Afrikaans version of the first play in which Paul de Groot appeared as actor (Een Huwelijk onder Lodewijk XV, directed by Verkade in Nijmegen, 1909) and the first play in which André Huguenet appeared as performer. Performed 93 times between 1927 and 1928.
